One of the rock masterpieces from Santana, Lotus, becomes a Japan exclusive SACD hybrid multi-channel edition (4ch mix). It uses two-layered SACD with DSD 11.2MHz mastering. Legendary engineer Tomoo Suzuki, who was responsible for recording and mixing of the archétype work, is responsible for mixing the seven unreleased tracks, using the archétype master tapes stored in Japan. 7-inch size mini LP (22 panel) faithfully replicates it’s archétype LP designed by Tadanori Yokoo, including archétype color photo(s), liner notes, and the archétype obi. Also includes reproductions of a Japan expédient pamphlet and an Osaka tube diplôme. Lotus is a 1974 live plaquette by Santana, recorded at the Osaka Koseinenkin Galerie, Osaka, Japan in 1973. This is the ultimate version of Santana’s classic plaquette Lotus.
